Colombia’s Weather Conditions Make it The Perfect Choice Any Time of Year

Essentially Colombia has no seasons as it is so close to the equator. So, we are extremely lucky in that we are able to enjoy consistent weather all year long.

For you, the visitor to Colombia, this means that you aren’t restricted about when to visit. If you want to bring the kids, school holidays are the perfect time. If work commitments mean a holiday during your winter months is easier for you, this is the perfect time to visit Colombia too.

In fact, any time of year is the perfect time to visit Colombia!

We simply have a ‘rainy seasons’ and a ‘dry seasons’. The rainy seasons falls between April – May and October – November and the dry season falls between December – January and July- August. October is usually the wettest month of the year. So if rain is not for you then try to plan your trips around these times.

But in Colombia we are not put off by the rainy season, this is an experience all of it’s own! Here we see what feels like an entire season’s worth of rain fall in as little as an hour, followed by the warm, dry weather we all love.
