Day 1. Medellin: The Coffee Region trip starts at a city that epitomises the positive growth and transformative change that Colombia has experienced in recent years. From “one of the most dangerous” places in South America to one of the most upcoming and thriving cities, Medellín is an inspiring example of the rest of the country and you’ll soon get to know all the thrilling details during your stay here.

Day 2. Medellin Soccer Experience: After exploring the city and if the dates allow it, you will go to a vibrant soccer / football game in Colombia.  Here you will feel the enigmatic passion of the supporters in the vibration of the stadium filled up with people jumping and singing. There is nothing quite like a Colombia soccer game!  If soccer is not your thing, don’t worry – we cater for the passions of everyone in our group.  Our local guides will take you on a journey of discovery to fascinating places known mostly to locals.  Discover the parts of Colombia that only a local guide would know!

Day 3. Guatape: The most colourful town in Colombia, Guatapé is the gem of today’s travel.  You will stop off along the way at Piedra el Peñon, known simply as ‘the stone’.  Standing at 2,135 m tall, the giant rock is almost entirely smooth with a great crack down one side, running from top to bottom.  The crack is home to a 720 step staircase that appears as though it has sewn the rocks together. Once at the top, experience breathtaking views of the sprawling lake-like dam it majestically overlooks and lose yourself in the magic of what feels like standing on the top of the world, soaking in the views as far as the eye can see.
This one day trip out of Medellin will be one day you will never forget.  Leave with stunning pictures forever carved into your most beautiful memories.

Day 4. Salento: Today you will take a flight to travel to the city of Armenia, Colombia. On arrival, a private minibus will be waiting to drive you to the picturesque village of Salento, Colombia.  Salento is home of some of Colombia’s finest coffee farms and beautifully stunning landscapes.  Today we arrive in Coffee heaven!

Day 5. Hike the Stunning Cocora Valley: Hiking boots at the ready!  Today is a day for travel adventure as you trek five hours through the Cocora Valley, home to the tallest Palm trees in the world.  After the hard work, soothe your aching limbs by bathing in the magical natural hot springs of Santa Rosa de Cabal, located 50 km north of Salento.  Feel completely cleansed from head to toe after an experience that truly nourishes the soul.  Or if you’ve got energy for a little more, stay and have a relaxing afternoon in the village or visit the must see Coffee Park.

Day 6.Coffee Tour: From the coffee beans to your morning cup of Joe, today you’ll have the opportunity to learn the entire coffee production process from bean to cup.  Sample some of the world’s finest, freshest coffee with almost zero food miles, while contemplating the beauty of the magnificent mountainous landscape.  An experience only found in beautiful Colombia. Bliss!

Day 7. Medellin You will be collected by private mini-bus and say farewell to our travel of Colombia’s Coffee Region and all the memories that you have made here. You will return to Armenia where to take a flight to Medellin to spend the last night of this Coffee Region trip. This is a day for contemplation of everything you have experienced – you will return home a changed person, enriched by the people, the beauty, the aromas, the unique and amazing Coffee Region of Colombia!
