Day 1. Bogota: Bogota and Surroundings Tailor Made trip starts at the International Airport where a transfer will be waiting for you. Then head to your hotel for a refreshment and take the opportunity to discover the surrounding districts where you’ll enjoy a delicious Colombian dinner.
Day 2. Bogota: You choose between a comfortable private van or an active bicycle tour – we tailor your guided trip through Bogota and Surroundings to suits you best. At night, we’ll visit Andres Carne de Res, a restaurant – night club hybrid that will make you feel like you haven’t just visited Colombia, but another planet! Feel the spirit of Colombia. You won’t be able not to dance!
Day 3. Salt Cathedral / Villa de Leyva: A two-hour journey takes us to the stunning Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira, considered one of the many ‘wonders of Colombia‘. We will climb into the mine for a one-hour walk of discovery! After a traditional Colombian lunch we’ll head further north through the lush green countryside to the beautiful colonial town of Villa de Leyva where we’ll stay for the night.
Day 4. Villa de Leyva: A full day in Villa de Leyva will give us enough time to explore the magnificent town and its surroundings, full of archeological sights and wonderous, natural, Colombian beauty. Options for our more adventurous guests include cycling, quad-biking and hiking – we tailor your guided trip to Colombia around your preferences.
Day 5. Bogota: Back in Bogota we’ll take you to more of our favourite secret places that will leave you with your eyes wide open about the wonder of Colombia! Then we say a gracious farewell as you travel on to or return home from your magical Bogota and Surroundings trip in Colombia.
